For many years, Kim has run a craft and gift business in the township, and recently ventured into providing patchwork material to locals through that store
After having a recent break from the daily grind of a real-world business, Kim’s now taken her business online.
This new enterprise - The Patchwork Emporium - picks up on her desire to supply quality patchwork materials and information about patchworking to hobbyists.

Orders and Shipping FAQ
Orders are placed using the PayPal shopping cart system. This is a world wide recognised system which is 100% secure, so you can be guaranteed your payment information is safe.
Orders are dispatched daily by Australia Post’s Express Post service to ensure you receive your material as quickly as possible. Orders need to be lodged before 2.00pm to be posted that day.
Postage Charges
Approximate cost for Express Post delivery Australia wide:
- 1-12 fat quarters (sales total $66.00) - postage is $8.00
- 13-50 fat quarters - postage is $11.00
- 51-100 fat quarters - postage is $22.00
- 101-150 fat quarters - postage is $33.00
- 151+ fat quarters - postage is $44.00
Please note… We only ship to Australian destinations. If you have lodged an order with an overseas postal address, we will email you to advise of additional international postage costs so that you can either
- make an extra payment to cover the international postage, or
- request a refund through PayPal
What’s a Fat Quarter?
A fat quarter is one metre of material which has been cut into four quarters. It’s dimensions are at least 50cm by 50cm - however many fat quarters may be slightly bigger.
Currently, The Patchwork Emporium is supplying patchwork material only in fat quarter sizes. We may soon supply material by the metre, but that will depend on the demand by customers. Please let us know if you would like to purchase material by the metre.
